bayside_supra
Hi everyone, Yesterday I replaced my blue alcantara door cards with some standard ones I got off ebay. I did not realise this when I bought them but there is a 50mm hole next to the speaker grill for some tweeters I guess, this was not there on my old ones as you car see in the pics. Is this standard or has someone cut the black ones? Previous ones New standard ones Only solution I can think of is to get some plain black 50mm tweeters to plug the hole. Has anyone got any old/broken ones? Does not matter how rubbish they are just something to fill the holes. Nothing is ever simple! If anyone fancies the blue alcantara ones let me know. Thanks Edited January 23, 2015 by bayside_supra (see edit history)

Alex
You don't need a tweeter just the cover to make it look like you have them Ask a local audio shop, as they probably fit tweeters and have mesh's left over in some circumstances. bayside_supra
Thats not a bad idea, looked on ebay for covers and couldn't find a lot 50mm in size, but a shop might do, need another day off work to check though! Anything to give the look of tweeters will do!
Mk4Gaz
How about a 50mm plastic cover , or would that look really gash lol! Something like this? http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=131054901008&alt=web
kayjay0_7
Not sure about the blanks, tweeter would look loads better fitted the in phase ones are around 50mm Edited January 23, 2015 by kayjay0_7 (see edit history)

bayside_supra
Thanks for the suggestions, nice thought for a cheap fix Gaz but I think you said it, the covers would look abit gash LOL The in phase tweeters or similar would be fine but they are £30 new which seems abit of a waste as I am not going to actually use them, there are some used on ebay but they don't end for 5 days. Anyone got any old or broken ones sitting around would be ideal. I might just go for some of the Chinese jobs that are on ebay for a fiver LOL
Mk4Gaz
I've had a thought. I've got a pair of tweeters in my door cards, that will fit those holes. They're not wired up, but, if I buy kelvins and actually fit them properly, then you're welcome to my current ones for free.
