ScottC
It's just a publicity stunt. I can't see the BBC having the balls to pull the show from 40+ networks around the world.
st3ven1
I see Chris Harris get mentioned a lot and personally he doesn't fit in the show at all. Only show I could see him fit in is Fifth Gear. He's going to be a guest presenter on one episode of this series of Fifth Gear. I can take him or leave him tbh, although he is utterly superb at man maths. Attero
Top Gear wouldn't be the same without any of them. If they do decide to get rid of clarkson, I hope they move to another network (providing it's on freesat). I'm sure any other network would snap them up in a heartbeat. ATB
I want them to do a "Iconic performance cars of the 90's" episode. Exactly! Been waiting for a challenge episode like that for years! Supra, NSX, Skyle, RX7 etc my life would be complete if they did
Scoot
They'll have cancelled Sundays show as it's normally filmed on a Wednesday, So the studio bit won't be filmed if they've actually suspended him. Wonder if they'll give him the boot or not. Shame, as it's the one thing I look forward to on Sunday nights before the dreaded Monday slog. j_jza80
Clarkson already did a drag race with iconic '90's cars What on earth were they thinking with that music though...

crock
Just see this. Apparently he was on a final warning and was told he would be out the door if he cause any further offence any time anywhere. Had a busy up with a production staff member was it? Give Chris Harris the job!! I cant see jeremy going, the bbc invested est 30mill buying the rights to top gear, they know it would be suicide for the show to sack him. however i agree chris harris is a entertaining to watch, however he isnt top gear
supra_aero
Surprised so many people are unhappy. I know tons of people who couldn't wait for this day to happen. That guy has got away with tons which many other presenters would have been suspended years ago for! I stopped watching it cause I couldn't stand clarkson. http://uk.businessinsider.com/why-does-britain-hate-jeremy-clarkson-2015-3?r=US
supra_aero
Would have liked to see japfest show purely for the car s. Didn't even know they covered that
Al Massey
Nah Al, Each studio piece is filmed the Wednesday before. Ah was going to say, because it took months for the episode I was part of to be shown on TV
Hitbox Junkie
If Clarkson goes Topgear goes. There is going to be a point where a presenter does change of they keep topgear going for another 22 seasons in less there still going to be doing it in there 70's
Wez
Over 217,000 have signed a petition to get him reinstated https://www.change.org/p/bbc-reinstate-jeremy-clarkson
Alex
What does he have to do to get fired? Kill someone? Throwing a punch is fairly serious. The BBC will continue to earn from TG even after it is cancelled.

grahamc
Sorry, but throwing a punch is quite a stretch from "allegedly hitting" as stated on the BBC site. It never states that a punch was thrown....

When the news first broke apparently it was reported he directed a punch, there has been no reports of any actual contact and of course the media are using the altercation between him and the complete tool that is Piers Morgan as an example of his behavior. jamesmark
Not as much as they do now. The BBC will be in serious decline if they do Maybe not a serious decline, but a decline non the less. It is apparently the most successful show ever (in regards to revenue), so although as already mentioned BBC will still make money on the show, the money they do make will decrease as previous shows have more than likely already been bought, rights to air given. So unless the BBC has something where they get paid for each episode aired (I doubt it as Dave will have gone out of business) then yes a decline will happen. j_jza80
I'm a fan of Clarkson, but if it is true that he punched someone then he should get the sack, just as any of us mere mortals would.
