JackyBoi
Thats exactly what I'm going to do with my blitz skirts Hopefully it will look good after the colour coding, I had a quick look at them today before the car goes into the garage so the bodyshop will do it quite cheap

JackyBoi
Few updates from Paul. He's ripped the engine out and started making headway on fitting the 2835's as well as a few other bits like the FMIC. Hopefully some real updates to follow shortly

JackyBoi
So the engine is back in and the turbo's are looking great! Still lots of fabrication to do in terms of piping, so probably won't have the car back for another two weeks Also had the spec clutch stage 2+ installed as well as a brand new flywheel. I have a few ideas in mind for the car over the next year, mainly thinking new alloys so I can run wider tyres on the rear, some more engine work and maybe even an OS Giken LSD if my budget holds! But all of that will have to wait until I get the brakes sorted, I was thinking about an LS400 swap. More updates to follow
drift_bear
I've had a quick look and couldn't see anything, whats the spec of the engine going to be for supporting the kit? Drop me a pm with the price its costing you, im interested to see if its different to what i got quoted for going down this route
JackyBoi
IT'S DONE! (Well, apart from mapping at least) But yes Paul, Daren and the rest have finished all the fabrication of the pipe work and getting all the rest of the stuff done, just waiting to be mapped now. The turbos in all their glory My HKS BOV Fuelab 535 FPR Blitz Nur Spec R with second decat And finally the aluminium gear knob along with the AFR gauge As soon as I get the car back I'm gonna do a complete detail (exterior, engine bay, interior etc) and get started on making a video, as well as plenty of pictures so I'll update this thread ASAP :D

JackyBoi
Just received some Veilside spats to 'decorate' the rear until I hunt down a second hand diffuser - thanks to Shawn Preece for the competitive price

JackyBoi
So after a few dyno runs we discovered the kit is surging... Not great news! We think it's to do with the .61 exhaust housings being too small and are putting too much pressure on the turbos when they come on boost. See the dyno graphs below: 1.5 bar boost 1.5 bar power 1.7 bar boost 1.7 bar power For now it shouldn't be a problem if I keep it on 1.5 bar, but obviously it's an issue which needs to be fixed. Don't suppose anyone has some larger exhaust housings for this kit for sale?
Luxluc
Looks like the AR is too small for higher boost. The power and torque curves struggle at 1.7 bar.
thetrashcanman
What is it mapped on mate v-power?

Yeah for now it will be fine on medium boost but bigger exhaust housings is definitely on my list What is it mapped on mate v-power? Well I always use BP Ultimate but it depends if the guys filled up any normal unleaded (which I highly doubt) We're confident it's just due to the small exhaust housings
mellonman
Nothing wrong with staying at 1.5 nice result
