So the engine is back in and the turbo's are looking great! :D

Still lots of fabrication to do in terms of piping, so probably won't have the car back for another two weeks :(

Also had the spec clutch stage 2+ installed as well as a brand new flywheel.

I have a few ideas in mind for the car over the next year, mainly thinking new alloys so I can run wider tyres on the rear, some more engine work and maybe even an OS Giken LSD if my budget holds! But all of that will have to wait until I get the brakes sorted, I was thinking about an LS400 swap.

More updates to follow :)

IT'S DONE! (Well, apart from mapping at least)

But yes Paul, Daren and the rest have finished all the fabrication of the pipe work and getting all the rest of the stuff done, just waiting to be mapped now.

As soon as I get the car back I'm gonna do a complete detail (exterior, engine bay, interior etc) and get started on making a video, as well as plenty of pictures ;) so I'll update this thread ASAP :D :D :D

So after a few dyno runs we discovered the kit is surging... Not great news! We think it's to do with the .61 exhaust housings being too small and are putting too much pressure on the turbos when they come on boost. See the dyno graphs below:

1.5 bar boost

1.5 bar power

1.7 bar boost

For now it shouldn't be a problem if I keep it on 1.5 bar, but obviously it's an issue which needs to be fixed. Don't suppose anyone has some larger exhaust housings for this kit for sale?

Looks like the AR is too small for higher boost.

The power and torque curves struggle at 1.7 bar.

Yeah for now it will be fine on medium boost but bigger exhaust housings is definitely on my list

What is it mapped on mate v-power?

Well I always use BP Ultimate but it depends if the guys filled up any normal unleaded (which I highly doubt)

We're confident it's just due to the small exhaust housings :)
