More quality welds found by Whifbitz (this little part was covered with heat wrap, I can only assume in order to hide the weld haha)

Turbo will be arriving sometime next week, which means if all goes to plan, the old girl should be up and running within 2 weeks ready for mapping :)

That's disgusting, although after the problems we've personally had with Whifbitz I'm not surprised.

I know there are many people who can vouch for their workmanship and that is reasonable as they have and still do really good work, but it does seem some people are just left picking up the pieces. IMHO!

You ought to send a picture of that to Paul, I doubt he'd be happy seeing that. Hopefully this isn't a common occurrence, the welding they did on my downpipe (needed a different flange for my turbo) is first rate to be fair.

In all fairness this was a long time ago, probably coming up to 2 years, so I don't see the point in chasing down one awful weld. Me and 214supra sorted it out between us; I gave him some money off to go towards the repair. I'm just surprised I'm STILL coming across things that they bodged. I dread to think what I'll find later down the line, it's never ending.

Wasn't this the exhaust that came off the car on the way home from it being fitted and was dragged down the road?

Yeah, about a week after it was collected the end section came unbolted but stayed attached to the hangers & dragged on the ground before I slammed on the brakes. I almost forgot about that! ;)

And some 45 degree 4" bends for the exhaust system (these cost too much lol)

And a 4" v-band!

Exhaust fabrication starts Monday, I can't wait :)

Awesome build mate.. just sat and browsed through the whole lot!

I see your using Damien at Di racing.. iv met him a couple of times. Hes worked on a mate of mines skyline and has recently been sorting out his glanza.

Nice chap... likes his cats!

Cheers buddy! It's taken a lot of time and effort to get the car to where it is but I think it will all pay off! Yeah he's a top bloke :) is it a white r32/grey r33 that your mate has?

I always thought Damien looked more of a Vdub kinda guy lol.. like he should be restoring old campers lol!

Super chilled!

Nah my mate used to have a midnight purple R33 but it was abit of a nail. Damien put a new engine in it for him but then that started playing up too.. the car was just a problem car from the start, not helped by the fact my mate has no mechanical sympathy what so ever lol.

He now has a white glanza, Damien has been doing alot of wiring and plumbing on it.

Ah I see, I think I've seen photos of the purple one from a while back. I've seen the Glanza about as well! It's a cool ride :)
