gordy.r
Been looking at a few different alloys for when I'm getting a full respray done hopefully end of the year and one of the options are the XXR 527's in 18". I've seen one Supe with them and I thought it was a good combination. Just wondering if anyone has any knowledge of the build quality, weight of the alloys, finish etc and also what would be the best offset and sizes to go for front and rear.. I'm not great with following alloy sizes etc so any help and explanations are much appreciated. Cheers
supra_ufo
http://www.revolution247.com/catalogue/shop-by-category-alloy-wheels-xxr#&&/wEXAQUEUGFnZQUIVmlldyBBbGxGrsc8+2M9aiLh5GQO8M5V31kQ8w== As for off set depends on the sizes available to you. I would say 9.5" wheel 35 off set which is what I have currently (I do not own XXR) and rears it all again depends on the sizes available. tony tt
I've 527's. Offsets are limited and you will need an arch roll if you are wider than a 265 rear. Mine are 18 inch. 8.5 front 9.75 rear. They are an aggressive offset mate and looking back I wouldn't have went for that offset. Offset is +35 front +20 rear on mine. They are a nice wheel but you may need some playing around to get them to fit. I got a 5mm hubcentric spacer to clear the UK brakes.
