Petrol Q?

the ECU should retard timing if it needs to, so you'll just be running with less power by driving on regular unleaded (95ron), although it's commonly thought that J-Specs would not be safe on 95 ron, I can't see why considering this.

I use Optimax where I can. There is quite a noticable difference between regular unleaded and super-unleaded on the turbo cars. Optimax is just another SUL as far as I'm concerned, but I do at least think that Shell petrol is probably reasonable quality.

remember to fuel up before motorways where possible. it will be over the £1 a litre at services.

tt steve.

£1.09 at services today and I think (maybe I was seeing wrong) it was £1.009 at the Esso in Altrincham. First time I've seen more than 2 digits after the dot!
