msupra1
I bought some StopTech slotted rotors, and now I need some pads. I was thinking of running the OEM brake pads but I want a setup that gives a bit more of initial bite. Any input? They will be used 70% for general street, and 30% for spirited driving or a couple track days per year.
j_jza80
Probably best asking on the US forums, as StopTech isn't a very popular brand here.
Marcus GTE
Chris Wilson sells "fast road" pads that I'm using and like.
Nic
So are you currently using OEM now? Initial bite from the OEM pads is very good. Edited January 6, 2015 by Nic (see edit history)
pedrosixfour
I can thoroughly recommend Hawk HPS (High Performance Street) pads. I used them with great confidence on my track car for a long time and only upgraded to proper race pads once the HPS pads were (eventually) worn out. Luxluc
I run Stoptech ST40 brake setup front and rear - 355x32mm (4 piston). In combination with PF (performance friction) pads, the bite is awesome.

Even some track work is totally okay.

RobUK
If you email [email protected] he makes his own pads! They are the best in my opinion. Not sure if he would ship to Canada but if you don't ask you don't know Cheers
