Failed MOT!

that's an exhaust emissions failure.

 

will be because the Carbon Monoxide levels are above permitted levels, or because Hydrocarbons are above the max. ppm (parts per million) levels.

 

i guess it's because you've got no CATs on the car ?

yes ?

 

 

if so ...... put one back on (the front one), and re-submit for the MOT (best to get the CAT as hot as possible just before giving the car in).
