Kendo11
Evening all, Anybody sent any sideskirts abroad before? I've tried getting quotes from DHL, parcel force and Paisley but they are all saying that the items are too big. Anybody have any recommendations? Cheers

evinX
I got a quote once sending skirts to the Caribbean and DHL wanted around £300. LOL!!!
Chris Wilson
Sending large panels, or glass by courier is fraught with danger. It's likely to end in tears unless they are properly boxed, which makes them even bigger, and quite a bit heavier. This is why car manufacturers bought their own transport companies to ensure delicate stuff gets to dealarships intact.
Kendo11
Try GLS or UK mail Tries both of those and no good, dimensions exceed maximum limits but thanks anyway.
MadMax2042
Where are you sending them?
Graham1984
People are forever having issues with large/fragile items being sent abroad, and then getting damaged, which is one of the reasons I would only do a UK sale. I personally think trying to send anything fibreglass is asking for agro sadly for both parties, ending in an argument/dispute. If the items not worth much I would avoid doing it to save the future hassle for a few quid.
