jza800
I have now bourgt the gizzmo ms2 controller from a member inhere, but need some advise and help on setting and wirring.. first of all on the relay there are 3 wirring. red: constant 12v blue: ignition 1 (somebody know what wire to connect on) yellow/green : ignition 2 (should i need this? if yes what wire) then i need some help on the solenoid to connect to my wastegate, i belive that i have to use port 2 and 3 on the solenoid to the wastegate port 2: goes to the wastegate? port 3: goes to the turbohouse? And then to the settings.. i now gain is how fast it goes to boost and duty is max boost.. my target is around 1.2 bar, i now it is difficult to give the accurate numbers, but is to only so i have someting to start at, so i dont put in some wrong numbers and make some damage on the engine or turboes gain: ? duty: ? jza800
I have the manual.. need some that have mountet in their supra...
Mk4Gaz
For the settings, start with about 15 gain, and 50 duty. That should be about 1.2 bar. As for the wiring, surely if you have the manual, it can't be that difficult to figure out. My msibc was just power and earth, I'm not sure you need the other wires unless you plan to use the turbo timer function?
jza800
yes but it have 2 ignitions wire, i now i hve to use one off them, otherwise the display do not turn on.. blue: ignition 1 (somebody know what wire to connect on) yellow/green : ignition 2 (should i need this? if yes what wire) and how about the solenoid, is that the right way to Mount it on the turboes??? 2 goes to actuator 3 goes to turbo 1 housning right?? stock tt engine Edited December 29, 2014 by jza800 (see edit history)
Mk4Gaz
I would never listen to anyone telling me what wire in the car to connect to. Buy a multimeter and check yourself. You only need to find a switched live, under the ignition or behind the radio If you're unsure which one on the gizzmo to use, just connect them both - it won't do any harm. If the instructions say connect port 2 to the actuator, and port 3 to the compressor housing, then do that. You must leave the unused port on the solenoid open
jza800
it only shows 2 Pictures, the one i postet, and for external wastegate...

jza800
ok, thanks, i will trie with the setting you wrote, i can see that a can set a overboost, should i use it or not???
Mk4Gaz
It would be wise to set it if possible, but I don't know whether it's a visual thing, or whether it actually lowers the boost automatically on this model? If you set it up this time of year, you shouldn't have to worry about overboosting, as it's not likely to get much colder lol!
jza800
Ok, if i set it, what should i set it at then??? Hehe, no this car dont run at the wintertime
Mk4Gaz
Well, if you want to run a max of 1.2 bar for instance, I'd set the overboost to 1.25.

Grasmt
Put a 1bar restrictor ring in the exhaust plumb all the vacuums back to their original places and take the boost controller out all together. Stock boost(ish)
jza800
That was not the quistion, i now many boost controller can be turn of, and you then have stock boost level.. have read the manual many times with no luck.
