J-Meiser
Hi peeps, its me again with another question. Out of curiosity, were there EVER, any aero tops made that were manuals & RHD? I've found a fair few in the States, but not anywhere else. Just wondering if the Americans were the only ones to have the "best of both worlds". Also, would it be possible to convert a regular Supra into a Aero top? Ok, there may be a fair bit of work involved, but would it be poss? Any responses would be greatly appreciated! Thanx again Jamaine

Brian Jackett
No way would you easily be able to aero top your car - Specialist Job not worth the hastle. But you could convert an Aero to manual: You would have to change: Aero Auto TT to Manual Flywheel Add a clutch Add the foot pedals Change Prop shaft Change Diff Change Drive shafts Aero NA Manual to TT It might be easier to change a NA Aero manual to TT. Just change engine: That seems to easy, anyone know what else might need to change
outatime
As brian says, a transmission swap would be a 'easier' than hacking the roof of a hardtop Supra... There are a few Aussie/NZ guys who have done this - its a lot of work. Try driving an auto, some people prefer them to the 6 speed... albundy68
related targa question, n if its been asked before then im just cr*p with the search. (but i did check! ) Did they ever make a facelift TT targa? coz on JIC it says they stoped making targas in 95, but they have a 97 facelift green NA targa on their site, contradiction or what... but still, a TT facelift even in auto, (i like autos n im pretty shure i'd be in a wheelchair now without the ol kickdown on my auto supe) that'd be nice... but do they exist??? J-Meiser
Thanx Brian & Outatime. When the time comes, I'll consider my options & c. I'd like to drive an auto sometime, just to see what it's like, make a choice & go from there. Jamaine
