evc 5 boost controller

Hi iv started a new thread but this time its regarding the boost controller it works comes on goes off switches between a and b settings but i cannot adjust boost or certain settings on the controller. Now i havent touched anything or done anything that could have resulted in it not working all iv done is mess with the exhaust as to my other post on hear could someone help with this i do have the instructions but thiers nothing in thier related to this any help would appreciated thanks

You need to do a reset. I forget how but u had the same problem. Then is a manual online. I think you turn it off then hold the power button whilst flicking the switch on the back.... worked for me when I had 1

Yes looks like it's gone into code so as not to change settings

Unless you have the 4 diget code then you have to do a factory resett

Iv got the manual but it doesnt show how to reset or iv not got that bit then i dont know if anyone knows as im working on the car so no access to my computer if not will look into it later thanks guys

All sorted it was that so reset the controller this is how

To reset the EVC 5 turn your^ignition^switch^to 'ON' but don't turn the car on. Now press the power button on the EVC and hold it down for 1-2 seconds, and while still depressing the power button switch the wastegate selector on the back over to the opposite side. The EVC unit should beep to awknowledge the reset and you are good to go.
