Kendo11
Evening all, Just a quick one really, I painted my throttle body and y branch last year with some decent heat resistant spray paint, but want to remove it and either polish it up to a mirror finish or go for a different note sophisticated colour. I have some nitromors laying about at home - would that be ok to us on these? Not sure how porous the surfaces are and how susceptible they'd be to a strong chemical? After the paint is removed, how do I then go about getting it up to a mirror finish? Is it just lots and lots of fine wet sanding or do I have to apply something else? Cheers

Kendo11
It's something I'd want to do myself to be honest.

Kendo11
After a few hours you'll regret this comment Just been doing a bit of reading online. I completely agree lol, but it's something I want to do therefore something I will do. The question just remains as to whether nitromors will be OK on the engine parts? Mk4Gaz
Yeah it'll be fine mate. If it was only spray can stuff you used, you'll probably find that petrol soaked on a rag will remove most of it
