It's not something you can and should do in stages, if you want a successful, reliable NA-T conversion then do it right first time using good quality parts and ALL the supporting modifications required. j_jza80 Posted December 13, 2014 Share Posted December 13, 2014 The problem you have is that your gearbox won't support anything over 300lb/ft of torque for long periods. You would be better off selling your car and buying a TT auto, or ideally a 6 speed if you can afford it. Chris Wilson Posted December 15, 2014 Share Posted December 15, 2014 Keeping it *AND* buying a tidy auto TT will be cheaper than a properly engineered, fitted and mapped single turbo conversion of the N/A, done to a standard that won't have you wishing you'd never got started on it.
