Ian Ian
Work from underneath with a long exstension bar ...they are known to be tight and rusty depending on the condition of the car or how well its been maintained etc Cheers -Ian-
Scoot
I was underneath the car with an extension and elbow. And it took me a few hours of soaking with penetrative spray as I had no heat. Just don't snap them!

Marcus GTE
^ this 2 can be accessed straight on, one you will need the elbow. Make sure it's fully on before turning. Good luck Ps you might find the bolts between cats and on the exhaust bracket are in worse condition so be sure you can deal with them before going to all the hassle of getting the tough 3 off. I had to cut some
