cookieboy
i hit a speed bump today and a probe looking thing was bouncing around on the floor i bodged it up to get home i think its a tempreture sensor for the standard exhaust can i cut the wires and get rid as she has a nice exhaust or will it cause my dash light to stay on? Rich.2211
I'm not sure on the implications of getting rid of it but I don't think it will throw the dash light up. Also, as oppose to cutting the wires there is actually a connector plug for it. If you pull the drivers carpet down away from the centre console you should find it
Nic
Probably the cat temp sensor, it is only there to illuminate the cat overheating warning light on the dash.

straightsix
IIRC you'll need to remove the dash bulb too.
Rich.2211
IIRC you'll need to remove the dash bulb too. I've removed mine on a couple of my Supras and it's never illuminated the dash light, so he should be fine - touch wood
