lexmk4 Posted December 10, 2014 Share Posted December 10, 2014 Hi guys, Got a question about the abs. I'm not looking to delete the abs but would like to relokate it to the trunk. Doing that means i have to make the front lines longer. Would there be any reason why that would be a problem? Cause of it being a clossed system i would say that distances wouldn't really matter? markssupra Posted December 10, 2014 Share Posted December 10, 2014 Not just the brake lines would have to be made longer, also the wiring and relays would have to be moved. Chris Wilson Posted December 10, 2014 Share Posted December 10, 2014 As fluid is (all but) solid, from a compression point of view, the system will actuate, and I can't see the line length affecting the latency of the pulsing of the fluid, as you are only lengthening the front lines, but shortening the rear.
