Kaan W
It all depends on which fans they are. Do you have any more detail on the radiator also?

jza800
no website, bought it on ebay... http://www.ebay.de/itm/121479328488
Lee P
Electric fans need to be reliably and move enough air otherwise it is a bad move. Make sure the fans are wired and fused independently, so if one fails you still have the other working
Kaan W
Could try it, with caution. It's impossible to tell with such a vague description.
jza800
thanks for that advise, can i hook it up to the termostat the stock Little fan use??? as there is a hole to that in the new radiator
ScottC
Why go through the hassle of installing electric fans?
jza800
because if follow the radiator i bourgt.. and i like the clean look i get when i remove the stock one..
Kaan W
Imo it's either stock fan and shroud or srd electric fan kit. No other fans will cut it. It will work yes but I doubt you would see an improvement over stock. Also I may be mistaken but I think connecting it to the auxiliary fan wiring you were referring to only switches on when air con is turned on? jza800
i dont wanna see a improvenment over stock, just what to have the the same cooling as i had the stock fan on the pump.. and as i like the clean look i will get, by removing the stock fan... the Little fan i have on mine, dont turn on when i activate the a/c, only when the engine temp goes up.. and it have a sensor in the radiator, and only what to fit the signal wire to the plug, the rest off the power will come direkt from the battery, to a reley... Lee P
The aux fan comes on with the ac if needed but also if the water temp goes above 97 degrees so yes you can use it to active the fans i dont wanna see a improvenment over stock, just what to have the the same cooling as i had the stock fan on the pump.. and as i like the clean look i will get, by removing the stock fan... the Little fan i have on mine, dont turn on when i activate the a/c, only when the engine temp goes up.. and it have a sensor in the radiator, and only what to fit the signal wire to the plug, the rest off the power will come direkt from the battery, to a reley... Chris Wilson
The things a total abortion. Just think about it. You are hammering it up an incline at 50 MPH, and at that speed ram air effect should be more than sufficient to make fans needless. But the "designer" has an aluminium plate sealing the engine side of the rad, reducing ram air flow through the core to a ludicrous extent. The close mesh design of the fan supports, and the close bladed fans themselves, further limit "free" (as in needing no energy to drive fans), air flow. The fans themselves, at 120 Watts, are pitiful, and wouldn't cool a Duchess having a fit of the vapours. I would reckon the stock, engine driven fan would be approaching a 1000 Watts when the viscous coupling sees a high temperature. The thing's a bad joke. Plus if you have an automatic transmission you have no bottom tank heat exchanger, remember the heat exchanger warms the auto box oil quickly in cold start situations, then exchanges excess transmission temperatures into the water to air heat exchanger (radiator). Car makers DO know about this stuff, and you bin it only after due forethought.

Dim Sum
Also bear in mind that the stock fans produces 3,300 CFM of air. What does the ebay fan's produce?

Kaan W
Or just get the SRD fan kit instead of cheap eBay junk
Nic
For peace of mind I would just fit the radiator and keep the stock viscous fan and shroud.

Lee P
The stock shroud is no where near as close to the rad though. It allows the air to flow through the rad at high speed This is the reason our fan kit doesn't have a shroud. It uses 2 14" fans that have the power to pull the air through the rad, without relying on a shroud. i can see that the stock Shroud also close alot off the stock radiator... i would like to have the elektric fans on the car, but if it is a bad thing, i have to keep the stock fan, and put the stock Shroud over on the aluminium radiator... - - - Updated - - - i have no idea, the seller you sent me that infoes i have postet..
