Tommyd16
Just spent a good few hours replacing my front shocks for bilsteins with lower springs. Only managed one so far! The single hardest thing I've ever done! So has anyone got any tips for the other side? I removed the drop link but I still seemed short on room

Mk4Gaz
You'll need to remove the washer bottle on the passenger side, to get the long upper wishbone bolt out.
Benjy
Lift the whole front up. Disconnect the anti roll links. Pop the bottom ball joint. Done.
Ric
I did all my suspension just by removing the drop link. Just get somebody to stand on the disk, pushing the arm down and slide it out.
Benjy
I didn't pop the bottom ball joint on either of my cars. But it did make it a touch easier when I did another one.

Scoot
What Ric said. I did this instead of unbolting everything. Much easier.
Big Supes
I bought two new drop links (around a tenner each) and cut the old ones off because they were seized on. If you've got a reciprocating saw to hand, it'll make easy work of getting old ones off.
