Big Mark
As the title says, sometimes when I'm reversing there is a single loud bang from the rear. The clunk/bang isn't when I put it into reverse but at some point during the reversing. I think once (tho was a while ago) I just rolled the car back and after it stopped there was still a bang. I'm thinking maybe something to do with the rear brakes, probably the handbrake shoes/parts as guessing these could still be the originals so could be in a right state? Does this sound likely? Nic
A loose subframe or suspension bolt are common causes of a clunk whilst maneuvering.
Big Mark
Definitely not the subframe. Had them all double checked when I first starting hearing it.
