NA to VVTi TT?

Is it a big issue to use a VVTi TT engine and box to convert an NA aerotop to TT? Would a VVTi instrument cluster get around the clocks difference? What else would be an issue?

You'd need the VVTI ECU and wiring harness if the engine is complete with all sensors. Cluster maybe too. Other than that i can't think of any problems right now.

I dont know how the dash loom would react to the ECU from a facelift as the dials are different?

the dash board and panels are different as well as the wiring.

 

the prefacelift dash and clocks will work with the vvti, just need to do a mod to the rev counter.

 

is it auto or manual or you want to do the tiptronic conversion?

Added complication being it is an aristo engine. I would get the entire lump and box with ECU and the bits I need. All I would need is a way of driving a speedo or a replacement speedo I think?

This, Keron did the mod on mine to get the rev counter working (though I already had facelift dash & clocks in).
