Made New Mani - NA - Lambda Question?

Yo dudes..

Iv cobbled together some manifolds for my NA Supra Drift missile..

I used the tubular headers from a GS300 vvti engine.. Cut the Cats off, and made the rest fit..

Now, the manifolds have screw in type lambda sensors, the sensors off the GS are 4 wire..

The Supra NA has bolt on type lambda sensors that are just 1 wire..

I can weld new bits on the mani's for the supra sensors..

But I'd prefer to use the GS sensors if it's can be made to work..

Anyone know much about the sensors?

I presume the newer ones are heated? So 2 wires for heater.. If one of the other 2 wires are signal & ground wires then great?

I know they just give off varying currents usual between 0-5v.. But do they give the SAME signal?

And anyone know what wire is what?

Presumably the 2 black wires are ground for sensor and heater, and presumably the white & blue are power for heater and signal..

(I can wire the power and grounds in no probs.. Just need to know I'm gona get the correct feedback?)

If anyone can shed any light on this it would be very much appreciated:)

Kind regards

Dale

Ps, Need to sort this tonight(Wednesday).. Going drifting at Lydden Hill on Saturday and still need to do a bunch of things to ready the car..

You need to establish whether the std sensors are zirconia or Titania type, and if you want to run the heated type you will need to create a dedicated circuit for the heaters and power...bit too much faffing about to take a chance on it working OK in a hurry, especially when you going to cane it,

anyway wire colours are here, http://www.lambdasensor.com/main/mcolours.htm

So basically, I ditched them altogether.. They only come into play on idle and when cruising.. Mines a DriftCar so it doesn't sit at idle and doesn't cruise much..

I have fitted a PLX devices Wideband sensor & gauge now so I can go back through the datalog and see what the AFRs have been doing..
