JackyBoi
I need someone who has a clear understanding of the exhaust system on a Supra to help me out here. I'm running 3" double decats with a 4" HKS titanium muffler, but it's still what I would describe as "quiet" and it has never ever popped or banged. I was at a Paul Walker meet last night and there was a stock twin turbo Supra there with a full exhaust system which sounded meaty; popped and banged like Chinese fireworks! Am I running my engine too lean and need to run it richer to get this to happen? Or am I just completely missing something? Need some help with this one as I want to get this done for this Sunday! Al Massey
He probably had a BeeR rev limiter to make it pop and bang.
JamieP
They are never that loud on the stock twins, as the two small turbos are like little silencers. If you want the loudest exhaust possible remove the rear box and just fit a straight bit of pipe.
Chris Bailey
If you want it to pop and bang buy a BeeR rev limter, can be picked up for around £200. Doubt it will be any good for the engine though. For a loud exhaust I'd recommend a 4" system, something like a Whifbitz 4" Titanium.
