Failed my MOT..........

I failed my 'MOT' recently, and boy am I depressed....

Im smoking too much (anything I can set light to), drinking too much (Drambuie, Tanglefoot, coffee and Nightnurse in equal amounts), my air-intakes clogged up with gunge and my exhaust failed the emmissions test big time. My ball joints are shot and my fuel lines are furred up.......the doc said I was in typical shape for someone with my mileage and lack of servicing, and if I didnt turn down the boost and slow down, my big end will go eventually....time to clock myself a few thousand miles and get fit again, starting very soon, maybe after Xmas, dont want to rush into it...dont want a heart attack

Go back to your standard air filter and only use the best of fuels, turn down the boost but that doesn't mean you should slow down, in fact a couple of track days might help. I'm in the same situation but at least I haven't had an MOT certificate to prove it yet, always feels sluggish obviously not in 'as new' condition any more (and I'm only 23!!).

Jane turns the big 50 in Oct.....shes a wee bit fed up about it but she passed a recent 'mot' with flying colours....I think her toy-boy keeps her young, maybe I should get one....As for me, the only thing about turning 50 that worries me is as it says in my sig....Life may yet play the Roxy Card
