So something is draining my battery... Has a new battery, alternator is reading 14volts so it's neither the batter or alternator.. if I leave the car over night it's dead by the morning... Jumped the car earlier, battery read 4.25 turned the car off within ten mins read 2.5... Anyone know what's draining the battery? has a car 1 alarm... I disconnected the subs etc so not that.. any help be great.

Do you have a multimeter?

If not, go out and buy one. Then look online for instructions on doing a 'parasitic drain test'.

It's dead easy, and will allow you to find the circuit at fault. Then it's just a case of unplugging everything on that circuit till the draw stops.

Certainly sounds like starter motor to me ! If I remember correctly there are 3 stud bolts to get it off and one of them is a real pain you need extension bar on a swivel to get to it. Much easier when confirmed to get a local garage to take it out and replace for you. You can usually refurb the motor yourself with a kit for about 20 quid, do a search on here for the parts, also a thread on here with write up how to do it. Good luck !!
