jza800
I got some eu/us spec camshafts and thinking about to put it in my j-spec engine, but have read that Less aggressive camshafts allow the engine to respond faster. so my question is. should i keep my j-spec cams to keep the engine to respond faster, or should i put the eu cams in??? Chris Wilson
Unless you have a mappable ecu to optimize the map to suit the new valve timing I would leave things be.
Nic
I got some eu/us spec camshafts and thinking about to put it in my j-spec engine J-spec and UK/US/Euro spec exhaust camshafts are identical, it is only the intake cams that have different duration/lift. Chris Wilson
You may as well go for 256 cams if you change at all, whilst a stock ecu will allow them to run OK, the map will far from optimal.
