Blitz Ss Is It Ill??????????

Every time I look at my new Blitz SS dump valve it seems to have a oil deposit on the end of the horn? What does this mean.

It also seems to stak a little bit open at idle speeds,, I can see it. When I rev the engine it closes and then CHEWWWWWWWWW, when I let go.

After it dumps it does not seem to close the valve smoothly, it looks like it stutters closed?

Whats up with it??

any ideas??

mine does same, it used to go on intake pipes.

i know a lad with a scooby p1 with blitz nur spec exhaust and blitz dump valve when he revs hard and lets go you can see it put out a fine mist of oil and that was with the filter attatchment on too. i took my filter off and put other trumpet attatchment on, seems to sound a bit better.

does it on hks dump valve too on mates skyline.

sure some one will tell you better

A little bit of oil being released by a BOV is not unusual. It's usually because of worn turbo seals or the PCV system. All things considered it's not really a big problem unless you start to see massive amounts of oil being released by it, then i would start worrying.
