Auto box pipework question.

This is the back of the radiator.

This is the feed and return for the gearbox oil. But which one is hot which one is cold?

I would start the car but all other fluids have been drained and parts of engine missing.

There is nothing from the lines that makes it obvious which is which.

Guidance would be amazing thanks in advance.
