Guest Anger
I have a tiptronic face lift TT with BPU and when I had it on track at Snetterton last month it misfired on the straights at about 115mph, anyone have any ideas what would cause this ? Thanks James

jcbt
Thanks for the reply Would that be always at exactly the same speed Everytime with the parts you mentioned ? James Was it a misfire or did the engine come to a grinding halt like it had been starved of fuel. Also is it fine at other times when on full boost. If its a j-spec then it may have not been de-limited Edited November 5, 2014 by jcbt (see edit history)
Guest lloydy
yeh, could be the factory speed limiter, thats set at 112 mph, and isnt particularly pleasent when you hit it, i expect that could cause a misfire as its fuel cut limiter
Guest Anger
It misfired and then went again to about 120mph where I was running out of track, I was wondering if where the limiter was taken off it was done properly And Yes it's a J spec Edited November 5, 2014 by Anger (see edit history)
