Supra_dan
Can anyone tell me what this pipe is at the back of the engine. I'm thinking coolant pipe?
mattdavies
Yes coolant hose. Absolute pain to replace in situ, the hose clip is down the back and there is not a lot of space

gavin.starr
Its a real pita to do. Mine exploded stationery at some traffic lights and took the aa man nearly 2 hours to replace with a random bit of hose from his van. I had to replace it the following weekend with the genuine part. Prepare yourself for muchos swearing lol. If you dont have any invest in some of these. http://www.diseno-art.com/images_2/hose_clamp_pliers.jpg will make grabbin the clip at the base a lot easier Edited November 4, 2014 by gavin.starr (see edit history)

Mk4Gaz
I replaced mine last year as it split, just before jae. It was about £30 iirc from Toyota, as it shape specific, and a total sod to get to. Honestly, it's far easier to whip the cam covers off to replace it.
