mwilkinson
Hi all, Not overly exciting but I have bought an active spoiler setup which I have refurbished and was testing the motor with a bench tester off the car. Thought some of you might enjoy seeing it in action so I took a video. Enjoy. http://vid315.photobucket.com/albums/ll446/mwilkinson01/Supra/20141102_153116_zpszwqmf8qm.mp4
AndrewOW
All you need now is a full loom manual override controller, and you're away
mwilkinson
All you need now is a full loom manual override controller, and you're away and to get it working the with FMIC. I've done it once before but it was a pain. Trying to fabricate an easier option this time.

mwilkinson
I've had it working with a whifbitz 4" core FMIC although it's a lot of work. I'm trying to find an easier option at the moment. So in short. Yes unless you wish to fabricate a system, you will have to lock this down. Jord
Always nice to see the inner workings of something. The active spoiler is one of my favourite features on the supra.

If I'm honest I'm not too fussed about retracting it want to show it! ..but I would like to have it working if I can I guess!! Do you have any pictures of your old set up? Good luck! AndrewOW
Being able to control the spoiler for speed bumps and low curbs is pretty important IMO. Having it permanently locked down will create a few issues, although will look good until that first scrape

Do you have any pictures of your old set up? Good luck! I do have a few images but I'm going to keep them close to my chest until I get it right. The hardest part is keeping the stick motor with intercooler pipes in the way. There is a solution to this, but I need to get some parts fabricated. I'm going to work on this more over the winter. Hopefully I will have a solution for next year which can be easily replicated or sold as a kit.
