Hi folks, got some problems with the supra any help would be very much appreciated! Basically when its on boost its just a but lumpy and splutters, also under idle its not very steady and revs up and down. Its had new spark plugs and super spark coils fitted early on in the year. I have a video of idle but don't know if I can upload it to this?

Its running around 1.5 bar, it used to have oem packs but they were tested I think and were knackered. So is the super spark ones not much use? Where is the idle control valve? Ive not been very hands on with it just yet but need to as im in Orkney and not really anyone here I would take it to!

Who is your mate? this is a small place!

He's an older guy this works at stromness and hatston doing security, mark Williams

I took a plug out and its a ngk iridium BKR6EIX, im not sure what the gap should be but the gauge I have says 1/16 or 25? Plug looks bit black also.

Your spark plugs are wrong, this is taken from the tech section from here

Single Turbo/Big Twins @ upto 1.3bar

NGK - BCPR7ES (3330) - gap 0.7mm

NGK - BKR7E (6097) - gap 0.7mm

NGK - BKR8E - gap to 0.7mm

NGK Iridium - BKR7EIX/BKR8EIX - leave gap alone

Denso Iridium - IK24 - leave gap alone

Single Turbo/Big Twins @ upto 1.8bar

NGK - BCR8ES - gap 0.6-0.7mm

NGK - BKR8E - gap 0.6-0.7mm

NGK Iridium - BKR8EIX - leave gap alone

Denso Iridium - IK27 - leave gap alone

Got the ngk iradium bkr8eix fitted tonight and with the idle control valve cleaned out I took it a blast and definitely better! The odd time there's just a tiny splutter it's not very noticeable probably can't even call it a splutter, but could this be down to the colder weather causeing the ecu to come in? And the idle is spot on now! Was good to feel the boost again :) cheers for the help folks!
