Uprated clutch with toyota pressure plate?

Hi all.

Had to refurb my clutch master cylinder today so whilst bleeding the clutch I had a nosey at the clutch via the inspection plates.

I was under the impression my car has an uprated clutch however I noticed it had a toyota pressure plate.

I thought uprated clutches came with their own pressure plate?

Is it possible I could have an uprated clutch with a toyota pressure plate?

It is a pull type clutch on mine (v160 box)

Cheers

The diaphragm spring can be uprated, yet still use a new stock cover pressing. having custom pressings done in small quantities is hugely expensive. A lot of uprated clutches actually use used, recycled pressings and friction plates, machining cover's the friction plate is risky though, as it throws out the geo, that's why many aftermarket clutches don't release properly without mashing the clutch pedal into the carpet, or even having to use larger bore master cylinders, or smaller bore slave cylinders.
