Geo
As i'll be concentrating on the intake side of things first with my build i'm wondering what Options we have with regards to Upgraded Plenums, So far i have looked at - Hypertune Greddy Induction Performance(this comes with custom made fuel Rail) Geo
Callaway Motorsport
Sound performance.... VWR my choice would be Greddy VWR or Hypertune
Kaan W
Hypertune if you don't mind cutting holes in the car otherwise Ross racing.
Callaway Motorsport
Ross racing is no longer made, they only supply throttle bodies and parts. Used ones are like a gold bar... hard to get and alot of money...
Supraleeturbo
I'd go for a Srd one That's on my list of parts I think it's a greddy copy
Rob_Mitchell
I would go for SRD Plenum too! greddy replica. I always love the hypertune plenums! seriously sexy bit of kit

98HT
Like Dane said: VW or Hypertune. Personally I don't like cutting up the car, so I vote fot the IP or DOC (Both RMR style, but slightly different) But tbh, I won't look at intake manifolds at all if you're planning on less than 800rwhp... Geo
As much as i liked my Old Greddy style one, i Prob won't be going with Lee's Version. Why? its simple, everyone has them, want something different tbh on this build, hence why im asking for Options for whats out there. Like Dane said: VW or Hypertune. Dan_Turism0
personally i prefer the look of the DOC intake manifold over the angled ones also means you don't "need" to relocate the battery
Geo
Like that, should help with flow of the FMIC should it not, as its less distance to travel so to speak ?
98HT
Well it depends on the setup really. But bang for buck I would keep the stock unit. 6766 + E85 is an easy 800+ rwhp with stock intake (not sure what your planning turbo and fuel wise). Hell I know 6266 setups making high 700rwhp with the stock intake. Don't take this the wrong way, they definitely help adding power to the 2jz, but it's an expensive upgrade. And 99% of the people won't need one to reach their goals. If you want to max out xyz setup, then you can add one.
Justin Bieber
I think the Virtual Works intake outflows just about all the rest, including the Veilside and Hypertune. There's a thread on supraforums I think about it with flow data somewhere, however this is quite a good read too: http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?521144-Intake-Manifolds...-When-To-Pull-The-Trigger
jazz1
I prefer the hypertune.
Luxluc
Hypertune would get my vote. I have a GReddy on my Supra currently

mwilkinson
Have you considered having a stock manifold modified with internal work. Dan did that on my car. Not certain what extra performance it gives, but there are notes on his build thread. That way you get increased capacity, better flow but retain the stock look that side of the engine bay. Food for thought? Edited October 27, 2014 by mwilkinson (see edit history)
Krister
I have the Titan Motorsports Street intake manifold on my Supra with the stock throttle body and have made close to 1200hp with it on E85 and a 80mm turbo.
Guest Budz86
One thing to keep in mind is that if you have a stock intake and electric fans, the pipework from the IC runs right up behind the fan so when it kicks in, it blows hot air all over your intake pipe and it suffers with heat soak. The obvious way to help with this is heat wrap the pipe, but that is definitely function over form. You could also zircotech it, but big money as you know, or you could keep the stock viscous fan. All personal preference choices Of course if you decide to go after market you may find yourself cutting holes in the body to get it to fit, so I guess it all boils down to your goals with the project
johnny g
Unless you're doing a big power build, stick with stock. IMO

johnny g
Everybody wants lots of power Can't argue with you there my friend! - - - Updated - - - whats the limits of the stock one? I think it's 700-800bhp realistically. some have seen 1000bhp though.
