RobUK
I have been told the coach section is OK. We usually have the coach/lorry part anyway so don't worry.....
add heywood
I remember coming home from db13 in the Ridox, we were in the "normal" section. Had about an inch either side of the wheels on the train (my volk gtv). Was a bit of a nervy moment lol

Branners
We are hugely over subscribed on this one, looks like 47 cars on the Eurotunnel (its all good, I had enough in reserve..) so there are no more tickets available folks. Thats going to make parking a bit more lively at the lunch stops, but the 4 mile long tunnel will be epic.

Pig
Can somebody explain how we get the routes? They will be released close to the event as sat nav itinerary files which you load onto your tom tom or garmin. Ellis normally gives physical maps when you arrive as well. Steve Paine
Ibrar be careful as to what Tom Tom you get. The tin files only work up to certain models. Google maps will work, but don't appear to accept an itinerary. I believe the Garmins also only work up to certain models. Someone did suggest Co Pilot, which I have as an app on my phone, but I can't work out how to program an itinerary.
Attero
I'm known as the human satnav. I'll get you all to Berlin, no problem.

DodgyRog
Thanks, I do all my navigation using google maps on my phone, however I will buy a TomTom if necessary? This is the one quite a few of us use, it's still available by the looks of it, but getting a bit thin on the ground now SatNav make the Dragonball so much easier, we did the 2011 without it and it was a pain at light and major junctions http://www.halfords.com/sat-nav-audio/sat-nav/car-sat-nav/tomtom-xxl-western-europe-classic-sat-nav-uk-roi-we http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/tomtom-xxl-iq-routes-edition-5-inch-gps-with-western-europe-maps-a51ka Must dig mine out, I haven't used it since the last Dragonball Edited January 27, 2015 by DodgyRog (see edit history)
Branners
That Halfords price for the TomTom XXL is a great price. I wonder if I should buy up a job lot of them and offer them with the routes preloaded!! Sadly as time goes on the real SatNavs are being replaced by phone navigation systems so I have to find a way of making this work on other devices some time. Co-pilot seems to be the most popular but I will do some research.

BOB B
Just booked a TomTom XXL on line at Halfords pick up Friday, I was suprised at how little it cost, I'm fed up with having the worry of getting lost, all I need now is a "techie" to load the files when they are done. Branners
Bob, you just plug it in to a PC, and then open up the folder like its a normal drive, find the itinerary folder and copy the files in. Simples.

If you need a hand give me shout. You can pop over and I can do it. Very simple job. Can even change the icon so you have a supra on the maps I know I'm sad but has to be done.
