Tommyd16
My battery is only 10 months old. The car has sat for 5 days and the battery is down to 9v. Is there anything that could drain the battery or is this almost acceptable for the weather we have been having laterly?
Abz
Wouldn't say it is, especially as it is not even cold yet. My first point of call would be alarm\immobiliser or after market sound system.
Tommyd16
No aftermarket sound system. Have a Clifford alarm. If the alternator is on the way out does it bring up any warnings on the dash? I noticed last week my bolts dropped but the car drove fine and later the voltage went back up. When I parked up I think the voltage seemed ok but can't honestly remember checking so maybe the alternator was only partially charging. I'm also going to ditch the turbo timer as I think it's been playing up and also I belive it maybe a fake.

Quite a possibility where your problem is
