C12MMO
Hi All, I've just purchased an engine that I need transporting on a pallet from essex to East Yorkshire. What should I expect to pay for this and can you recommend any companies that will do this? I don't have access to a forklift but I do have access to a pallet truck so it would need to be on a drop tail lorry. It would also need to be fully insured as i'm not the luckiest of people. Thanks in advance Karl
Brazil
It will have to be a pallet service, within the UK is not bad I paid 220 pounds to have my engine picked up in England and dropped in Portugal. I used these guys http://www.nationalpallets.co.uk/

Thanks in advance Karl An engine will (just) go on a half pallet. Most companies will have their own pallet truck for loading and a tail lift vehicle. When I sent Brazil's engine to Portugal his chosen company were very good and helpful.
SPG
Paisleyfreight are very good, and reasonably priced also.
j_jza80
Paisley freight are terrible. They cost me an exhaust, and wasted 2 days of another forum members time. All I got from them were lies. Avoid. I've always found Yes! Couriers to be excellent.
Guest Nicholas
I found Paisley Freight excellent, next day'd a pallet to Scotland for me and it arrived fine, very reasonable too!
