MATT RR
I'm interested to know how the idle control on a VVTI TT Supra works in comparison to the idle control on a non VVTI TT Supra if anyone can help? The throttle body is obviously different on the VVTI and I am curious as to if like the non VVTI there is an idle control valve and where it is located? I've seen the how to guide from Geo on how to clean them which was great for my last car (pre-facelift TT) but interested to know if this is a maintenance job that will come about on the VVTI at some point? Not having any issues with idle BTW, it does idle low at around 600 to 650 but understand that fairly normal for a VVTI? Thanks in advance for you help! MATT RR
Cheers J, At least I know now it doesn't have an ICV! Still not totally clear on what exactly or how exactly the idle is controlled on a VVTI though, the throttle butterfly is suggested but there doesn't seem to be a definitive explanation?
