Core Plugs - How to Remove them?

So as my Block goes to get cleaned on Monday now, i've got 2 wee jobs to get done before i drop it off.

 

One nut holding a sensor bracket. And core plugs, do i need to change these? or just leave them in?

 

If i need to change them, how do i do it?

Since you've got the block down to components I would definitely replace the plugs. It's not a big job, they come out easily enough. Just use a hammer and screwdriver to rotate the plug and then pull it out with a set of grips. Putting them in is fairly straight forward too. Just get a drift or a socket that's the right size and chap them in just past flush (after the usual clean etc), use some gasket sealant to make sure everything is in properly

I've actaully just noticed them bud, while looking at other builds on here. manual is in garage just now. i'll pop em out, and replace once its all cleaned proper

It's a cheap thing to do IIRC and it'll finish it all off nicely so it's definitely worth it
