tony tt
It's a crude video but here's basically what's happening. Lambda1 error and cylinder 2 voltage limit or knock I've no idea. Ryan has the logs and will take a look later. Chris Wilson
I have just been to the Syvecs site to get the current software and my Avast anti virus is saying there's a Trojan on the downloads page!

Big Supes
Do you know what the number is indicating above cylinder 2? Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but if the lambda is reaching maximum voltage it could be due to the engine leaning out under boost. Do you have an wideband AFR? tony tt
AFR is reading 11.9 on full chat. Normal driving is between 13.5 and 15. When it goes into limp mode it's seeing 10.6 but only after its in limp.

Above 120 and going into 4th gear on the auto box it starts to go red.

Guest Budz86
I thought the number above the cylinder was the knock? Afr is measured in the downpipe or exhaust so can't tell you Afr by cylinder. Usually the knock number is how many degrees of timing is being pulled iirc Fire them over if you want Tony
Geo
You could just zip or rar them up to post them here. Didn't even think of that Rar file added, whether the're good or not, we'll soon find out. It's not even mid-day and you've already made my day Chris. A self confessed non-computer person just schooled a professional IT guy in uploading Glad it made your day, now away and make yer beer and enjoy getting fatter Edited November 3, 2014 by Geo (see edit history)

Glad it made your day, now away and make yer beer and enjoy getting fatter They aren't engine logs either, that's what Syvecs call the Log book, just a generic history of usage. I posted a link to Ryan's help file for the Syvecs that showed how to create data logs. RTFM
Geo
Ma bad, didn't know it was the .SD files that are needed, here they are..SD Files.zip
Chris Wilson
My Syvecs software says they are either corrupted or they need a later version of the Syvecs software suite. Two totally different virus programmes say the Syvevs site current downloads are infected with a trojan, so I am not risking a fresh download. I love my Motecs
Geo
strange must be the old version you have, i downloaded the new syvecs stuff about 1 week ago, so im guessing its that. i emailed the stuff to ryan, so see what he says?
Chris Wilson
OK, I have the latest software from your link in the virus thread. These logs are just of the car idling or key on. You need to log whilst it's misfiring, before during and after preferably.
tony tt
The car didn't skip a beat yesterday even though it was showing cylinder 2 with an issue. Pulled really strong and it didn't go into limp mode at all. I don't think its a misfire now but the Syvecs in limp mode and it's the 4500rpm Rev limit I've been hitting and thinking it's a misfire on my part. Ryan did say the head may need some work as he thinks it could be a potential valve problem. tony tt
Small update from Ryan...... Found issue, it's going lean at on high load shifts from the auto gearbox cut for shifting faster and causing the Ecu to see a lean spike which puts in limp mode, have made it now ignore fuel cuts on shifting. He has sent a map to Geo so I'll get this loaded in at the weekend. Hopefully that resolves it and I can boost away till my hearts content I think this is the longest thread I've ever had on here. Big Supes
Great news. Thought it sounded like limp mode due to lean AFR's. Glad you got there in the end.

tony tt
Now hurry up and ruin some tyres again :p Those R888's don't last long at all. That's just fairly normal driving too and a few hard pulls. Hopefully I can run a bit more boost now
