brom86
Just looking for advice on how to fix a problem i have with my carbon lip ridox kit. It's a whifbitz kit with the carbon trim all round. It's few years old now. The front lip on the bumper is fine and the spats are ok but the side skirts are getting white patches on them. There are not as dark as they should be. Do they need rubbed down and all new lacquer on them?
j_jza80
Save yourself a lot of hassle, and spray the carbon bits in black plastidip will look almost identical unless you're up close.
Al Massey
WD40 is a good temporary fix. Spray and rub and it will clear up. Any decent carbon guy can rub down and re do, and their prices shouldn't be too bad. I have a guy in yorkshire that is awesome
Ric
There is a guy is Leeds who can restore carbon fibre also.

Stonkin
I'd be surprised if the clouded areas didn't come up like new if machine polished and then sealed to protect them.
SteveR
I'd be surprised if the clouded areas didn't come up like new if machine polished and then sealed to protect them. I've been thinking of replacing my Ridox (copy) skirts for a new set because of clouding, but if this is true I won't be quite so hasty! Rob_Mitchell
The cloudyness is sun damage as the UV content in the clear coat is not as high as we use in this country. we have flatted back loads of spoilers and re-coated due to this. wont polish out! it would just burn the surface
