TT Engine loom

Been looking at my loom to replace some broken connectors but thinking it may be worth just buying a new one as some of the wires are also brittle.

Found this company supplying looms so my question is would it be ok for a J-spec?

This is a good question that I would also like to know the answer to. Been thinking of changing the wiring loom for a while but at £1k I'm a bit reluctant to. This would be a more affordable option.

It says there is an option for MAF or MAP sensor so they may be able to make one to fit a J-spec Supra, probably best to ask them.

Is that how much the loom is in the UK? I fitted a new one on my Supra in HK, from memory it quite a bit cheaper than that.

You can't buy looms from Toyota now except the facelift

The early and UK ones are discontinued

You can buy all the plugs and pins still though so we repair them

If your running a syvecs and aftermarket intake a lot of bits can be removed from the loom any way

A customer told me that they only supply looms for LHD cars, but maybe they have expanded their range. Given the cost i would want to both phone them up, and have it confirmed in writing before ordering.

I have the part numbers for the pins and a lot of the plugs as have ordered them before

Steve Manley can get them just give him the 5 digit number on the plug then he can send you the correct pins

Thanks Lee and Chris, If you have the part numbers handy Lee would you mind sending them to me :)

Most of the connector shells and the pin kits are listed by part number on this forum. Andy Blyth went to huge trouble to ID and document all the common ones. A custom loom would probably be a lot neater and tidier if running an aftermarket ecu.

I will be running a Syvecs Chris, hence the reason for sorting this properly.

Eliminate the risk of your old, used, and worn out engine harness failing when you need it most. (IE: On the track, out in the boonies, rush hour traffic, a crime scene)

Help eliminate some chassis wiring on your race car, tuck your engine harness, simplify your wiring, straighten your life out

From the ad, made me smile.
