coza
Hi So I was going to move my car to the garage the other day and when I went to start it up the starter motor was sticking so after a few attempts to start the car up my battery went flat just as it was about to start , so I attached the jump leads and that's it Immobiliser isn't working can't get the battery icon to appear ??? Any ideas ?
SupraP-Z
Take the battery out, give it a proper charge. Put it back in once its fulled charged, disconnecting the battery should also reset the device. I used to get the same problem, after leaving the negative terminal off for a while, it used to work - bad ground in my case I think. JordanC
Last time I had a flat battery I took the thing out to charge it, put it back in and the immobiliser / alarm etc just worked straight away! I have a toad immobiliser/alarm too I think I read on here that it was advisable to disconnect the battery completely rather than charge it whilst its still connected.
