MRX
OK so when i brought the car it has this pipe joining the radiator to the heater matrix for increased heat reduction but i'm looking to return it to stock. The front top radiator pipe is a doddle to change so i can just change that for new. But the rear pipe goes down the back of the engine and looks to be a mare. So im just wondering if I can just unscrew the pipe and screw in a bolt or blanking type thing to this type of connector - Thanks for any advice
Kaan W
I have updated heater matrix hoses if you was looking to replace them altogether - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?311725-Superflex-silicone-heater-hoses Then I would just buy a new top rad pipe saves having joins and potential leaks. MRX
How easy is it to change that back hose? looks like a bugger to get down the back.
Kaan W
It's not that difficult to be honest, one joins to the top of the head and the other to the top of the bypass pipe to the rear left of the engine by the downpipe. Follow the pipes and you will see
