Poshmalc
Pretty please! Matt Turns out I'm actually going to need to replace the seals too! I've removed the pistons and cleaned everything up as one of them was completely seized. Am I okay to greas them up before they go back in? I guess they just sit in the caliper right? Any info would be great Matt
Nic
Below are the the Toyota part numbers, you can also get seal kits here http://www.biggred.co.uk/catalogue.php http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/content.php?57-Brake-System
j_jza80
Chris Wilson makes stainless steel caliper pins, a 'must have' upgrade to the stock pins IMO.

Stainless sound like a good idea, I'm pretty sure the crapped up pins must have had an effect on the pistons performance!
Chris Wilson
I do a complete set of stainless pins for the front and rear UK calipers. £32 plus VAT and postage. Stops the dreaded seized pin issues, that can even result in a scrap caliper if you get too carried away trying to get them out. I also do stainless pistons and can supply caliper seal kits, too. Poshmalc
Cheers for the reply Chris, I've already contacted my local Toyota dealer, but will keep you in mind in the future for upgrades. Matt
j_jza80
Having suffered the issue that Chris describes, I can not stress to you enough how bad it can be. When those stock pins start bending, cue lots of swearing, and plenty of action with a drill and an angle grinder. even worse than the dreaded heater matrix swap imo. Poshmalc
Yeah, I know it's a problem as I've been busy with said angle grinder and drill today! Will definitely upgrade when I can unless the stock pins are more expensive, then I'll get them now!
