Toms ecu n/a question

I've currently got a toms ecu fitted to my sup,it runs like a dream and pulls pretty well for a non turbo, question is what is the rev limit set too?as I can rev it right to 8k rpm and it still won't cut at 8!!! but I naturally back off as I don't want to destroy the valves/springs reving that high. I have wired in a bee r limiter for the time being so I can limit the revs to 7.5k. Any info would be great.

Allegedly you are wasting your time reving that high as the power would be dropping away by then, over if you changed up a gear and was in the power band. There is a rumour the similar Mines ecu had a few cases where the rev limit was not capped at 8000rpm and 80,000rmp was set instead which would lead to the inevitable destruction of the engine.
