Bad misfire since going single, really need some help

2 minutes with an MOT stations gas analyser up the exhaust while you twiddle the fpr will show if the map is lean. By raising the fp you are crudely re mapping all the fuel cells richer. I am a firm believer in having a new build on the dyno and with the mapper present from the get - go.

Thank god for that , you just dont know sometimes though how much people know or dont know

from what you are discribing I dont believe that there is anything wrong with your wide band and the 16 afr is whats causing you to have the misfire, unplug your stock o2 and im sure that your afr will go down into 13-14's ( not sure if that will be the same for the mines ecu though) and your misfire may disapeare , all in all good luck for thursday :)

i would be a little concerned if its misfiring still with low boost driving around the block if your afr's are in the 13-14's timing maybe way out

Cheers gents, I'm planning on taking a real steady drive to the dyno, it's only about 20 miles away almost all A road, so I'll just be gently plodding along, and I certainly won't be giving it any abuse!

It's currently got the stock ecu plugged in, my plans are to swap the mines in at the rr, and let them map to that. At least it saves me having a separate sld and fcd wired in.
