the car goes like nothing is happened and if you try to go faster there are no problems. All seems ok. any bad changement in the car or strange noises from engine.

I have to have afraid of it? COuld someone give an opinion for experience? the model is 93 NA with whifbitz exhaust and hks induction kit. NO SWAP no other changements at the moment.

Could someone give me a link where to buy the connerctors?

You only need a paper clip to check for stored ecu error codes. You bridge pins e1 and te1 in the diagnostic port, and count the eml flashes with the ignition switched on. This number relates to a code, that can be looked up on Google.

For instance, 5 flash, pause, 2 flash, would indicate error 52 - which is knock sensor

"Rather than requiring a bug diagnostics machine, you can use a simple paperclip, or a short loop of wire. You use this to bridge the connections E1 and TE1 in the diagnostics port"

"This makes the ECU flash the orange check engine light (not the red MIL light) when the ignition is switched to position 2. If it's a regular flash then there are no stored codes. Otherwise it will blink a few times, pause, blink a few times, and then give a longer pause."

So 1) open up the diagnostics port in the engine bay - see picture

2) bridge the E1 and TE1 ports inside with some metal wire - make a "U" shaped wire and push each end down into the holes.

3) sit in the car and turn the key to position two

4) tell us the flashes the orange engine symbol makes

:)

probably i' ve found the error in another site. should be DCT. no 42 speed sensor signal circuit for M/T) i think Manual transmission and it's like mine. then is written: " all conditions are detected continuosly for 8 sec or more, infact continue to repet it 4 flash small pause 2, long pause 4 flash small pause 2 etc..., then, a)no.1 speed signal 0 mph/kmh b) engine speed between 1500 to 4000 rpm rpm or more c) coolant temp 80 grades or more d) load driving WHAT MEANS??

hi guys, problem isn't solved. after the union of the pink wire with blu/red, i didn't remove the battery ... i have to do it?because the problem continue to remain again... i think that maybe when the car arrived in uk the old owner converted the odo in mph but when the car was bought from the last italian owner before me , he probably tried to convert again in km, and this is the result... someone could give me the original configuration of the wirings?? because now i have probably a mix of the job conversion. i've seen that there is also a micro box connected that probably was used to convert in miles the odo..... if someone understand like to resolve it , tomorrow i could attach a picture to show you like is the configuration now. Thanks for all
