ATB
I have a weird noise that I have trouble diagnosing. Most noticeable in first and second gear when 70-100% throttle at 2-4k rpm. It's like a Metal squeakyish sound similar to what a spring mattress/couch makes. Only thing that comes to mind is that I have no catalytic converters on the car and instead have a straight test pipe without and flex-joints. Other then that I have no clue. Heatshield on stock turbos is solid so it's not that either.
listy
Is it coming from the back? Check the boot rubbers (rubber blocks) they go hard with age.

ATB
I call it the girlfriend Haha, I wish! Throwout bearing? I doubt that. Is it coming from the back? Check the boot rubbers (rubber blocks) they go hard with age. I am pretty sure it's comming from the engine compartment. Can the manifold crack and make any weird sounds?
