Guest mwohaaahaahaa
Hi All, Does anyone have any suggestions on the easiest way to test/find faults on the engine wiring loom? I only really want to test the wires going to the vsv's which control boost for the first turbo and the pre spool vsv's for the second turbo. Thanks in advance. Shane
Assuming you want to check for continuity in the loom wires that connect the ecu with the vsv's, then a multimeter with a long extension on one of the leads and a pin is all you need. Connect one leg of your meter to a pin on the vsv connector and have the meter in the car with you, unplug the ecu connector and use the pin to push inside the relevant pin of the ecu connector and check for continuity. Then move on to the next one and check.

I'll have to get a diagram of the Pin out to work out which one is for the vsv I am trying to test. Humm... i think the mines ecu.. just replaces the standard one So I think it is a standard loom/harness.... I can see this is going to be a crappy task.. Thank you for your help Edited September 30, 2014 by mwohaaahaahaa (see edit history)

Thank you for your help All the pin outs for the ecu are on here courtesy of Ian C, think they are stickies in technical.
